Georgina Ruff (PhD) is an art historian, writer, researcher, and collaborator focused on modern and contemporary art, technology, installation, and the viewer's experience. She teaches at Pacific Northwest College of Art and Umpqua Community College and is a staff writer for Oregon ArtsWatch. Georgina is a Board Member of the New Media Caucus and the founder of MFA:NW, and organization that supports recently graduated MFAs and rural Northwest arts ecologies. Her current research focuses on the possibilities of malfunctioning tech-based art works.
